Conduct & Harassment Policy

The Portland Retro Gaming Expo (PRGE) strives to be a fun, inclusive experience for everyone. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion.

Please take care to avoid the following: offensive verbal comments (including those related to race, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance or body size), deliberate intimidation, threats, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Please refrain from the use of social media to target, harass or threaten individuals or groups in the context of a PRGE event.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, PRGE organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the Expo with no refund. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a PRGE staff member or volunteer immediately. PRGE staff and volunteers can be identified by labeled t-shirts. If you are in doubt about whether a person is affiliated with PRGE, go to the PRGE Will Call counter and ask to have the show manager paged.

Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the Expo. We value your attendance.

The PRGE Conduct & Harassment Policy applies equally to all Expo attendees, staff, volunteers, speakers and vendors. The policy applies at all PRGE-sanctioned events including meetings and during pre-show setup.

Thank you for helping make PRGE a fun and safe experience.
